Vol. 276 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Phoenix Park Parking.

32.

asked the Minister for Finance the plans he has to prevent cars from parking on the grass and between trees, particularly in the Fifteen Acres, in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.

Mr. Kenny

The parking of motor-cars on grass areas in the Phoenix Park is prohibited under a part by-law. The by-law is enforced as far as is practicable by means of patrols. Trenches are being dug along the margins of the road at the Fifteen Acres to prevent cars encroaching on the grass areas.
