Return to Writ: North-East Cork. - Introduction of New Member.

The Clerk of the Dáil made the following announcement:
I gcomhlíonadh Bhuan-Ordú 137 de Bhuan-Orduithe Dháil Éireann i dtaobh Gnó Phoiblí, tá orm a chraoladh gur toghadh Seán Ó Brosnacháin don Dáil sa Chorrthoghchán a bhí ann an 13 Samhain, 1974, do Dháilcheantar Chorcaí Thoir Thuaidh, de chionn an Teachta Liam Ó hEachtigheirn d'fháil bháis.
In compliance with Standing Order 137 of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business, I have to announce that Seán Brosnan has been elected to the Dáil at the Bye-Election held on 13th November, 1974, for the Constituency of North-East Cork consequent on the death of Deputy Liam Ahern.
Deputy Seán Brosnan, the new Member for the Constituency of North-East Cork, was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by the Opposition Chief Whip, (Mr. Lalor).
