Vol. 276 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - AAC Loans.

114.

asked the Minister for Finance if an applicant for a loan from the ACC is now obliged to pay an application fee; and, if so, the amount of such fee and when it was introduced.

Application fees are not charged for any type of loan other than loans for land purchases. Since November, 1973, the ACC charge a fee of £10 on applications for loans for land purchases. I am informed by the board that this is due to the high cost of processing such applications.
