Vol. 277 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laois Water Grant.

14.

asked the Minister for Local Government why a water installation grant, which was passed for payment on completion of the work over a year ago, has not been paid in the case of an applicant (name supplied) from Rosenallis, County Laois.

Two applications for a private water supply grant have been received in this case—one from a person described as the owner of the house and the other from the person named, who appears to be the occupier. The question as to whom the grant should be paid has not yet been clarified, but the Department's inspector has been asked to investigate this. A farm supply is also involved and the estimate of cost of works common to both the domestic and farm installations is awaited from the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
