Order of Business.
Would the Taoiseach indicate when and if it is likely that a statement will be made by him, or by some Minister on behalf of the Government, in respect of the matter I raised publicly last Sunday, a matter about which there is much public disquiet? What form will the statement take and when will it be issued?
First of all I should like to say that I noted with interest and appreciation the comments of the Leader of the Opposition last week. The matter is the subject of consideration and I will communicate with Deputy Lynch when it is proposed to make any announcement.
I wish to give notice that, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to raise on the Adjournment the subject matter of Question No. 10 of 15th November last.
