asked the Taoiseach the number of persons who are not civil servants employed by him since March, 1973; their names; their status; and their salaries.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate, with the Official Report, a statement giving the information sought.

The statement excludes particulars of persons engaged, on a fee basis, by the Central Statistics Office from time to time.

Following is the statement:

Number of Persons—One.

Name—Vera Price.

Status—On loan from RTE as personal assistant to the head of the Government Information Services.

Salary—£2,300 approximately which is recouped to RTE.
