Returns to Writs: North-East Galway and West Galway. - Introduction of New Members.

The Clerk of the Dáil made the following announcement:
I gcomhlíonadh Bhuan-Ordú 137 de Bhuan-Orduithe Dháil Éireann i dtaobh Gnó Phoiblí, tá orm a chraoladh go ndearnadh, sna Corrthoghcáin a bhí ann an 4 Márta, 1975, de chionn an Teachta Micheál Ó Ceit agus an Teachta Seán Mac Eochagáin d'fháil bháis, na comhaltaí seo a leanas a thoghadh don Dáil:—
Dáilcheantar na Gaillimhe Thoir Thuaidh, Micheál Ó Ceit; Dáil-cheantar na Gaillimhe Thiar, Máire Ní Eochagáin-Uí Chuinn.
In compliance with Standing Order 137 of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business. I have to announce that at the Bye-Elections held on 4th March, 1975, consequent on the deaths of Deputy Michael F. Kitt and Deputy John Geoghegan, the following members have been elected to the Dáil:—
Constituency of North-East Galway, Michael P. Kitt; Constituency of West Galway, Máire Geoghegan-Quinn.
Deputy Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, the new Member for the Constituency of West Galway was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by Deputy Lalor. Deputy Michael P. Kitt, the new Member for the Constituency of North-East Galway, was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by Deputy Browne.
