Vol. 279 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Malahide Post Box.

15.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange for the provision of an additional post box at New Street, Malahide, County Dublin.

I find that an additional letterbox is needed in Malahide village but it would best be located elsewhere than in New Street where it would be too close to the existing letterbox. A vacancy for postmaster at Malahide sub-post office is about to be readvertised and, if an appointment can be made, a letterbox at the new sub-office premises would most likely solve the problem. Otherwise, the additional letterbox will be provided separately as soon as possible at a suitable location.
