Vol. 279 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Boarded-Out Allowance.

4.

asked the Minister for Health why a couple (names supplied) in County Offaly have not received a boarded-out allowance in respect of a person (name supplied) for the period 1st June, 1972 to the 31st December, 1973.

The payment of a boarded-out allowance is a matter for the appropriate health board. The child in question although living in County Offaly is boarded-out by the Western Health Board. I understand from the board that they have reexamined the case and that payment of the boarded-out allowance will be made shortly in respect of the period referred to.
