Vol. 279 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Medical Card Issue.

98.

asked the Minister for Health why a medical card was not granted to a person (name supplied) in Dublin.

I am informed that this person applied for a medical card last year. The chief executive officer, whose function it is to determine eligibility, refused the application on grounds of means. The applicant was, however, supplied with certain appliances free of charge.
