asked the Minister for Finance the present position regarding the Scarriff River drainage scheme, County Clare.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clare Drainage Scheme.
20.
Mr. Kenny
The Scarriff is No. 12 on the priority list of minor catchments to be considered under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, but, in view of present commitments, it is not possible to say when the Scarriff catchment might be reached in the drainage programme.
Will the Parliamentary Secretary state when the cost/benefit research will be done?
Mr. Kenny
The Scarriff River has not been surveyed yet.
A survey was carried out some years ago. I should like to know if the cost/benefit survey will be done in the near future?
Mr. Kenny
No.
