Vol. 280 No. 12

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Business in the following order: No. 9 and, in No. 9, Votes 44 and 45 (resumed), Vote 42 (resumed) and Vote 9, Supplementary.

On the Order of Business, in view of the offer made by the assistant Whip last night to take the Pay-Related Benefits Bill this morning because of its urgency, would the Taoiseach care to explain why the Bill was not ordered for this morning?

This offer was only made last night at 10.25 p.m. It is very difficult to rearrange business at that hour and arrangements had already been made.
