asked the Taoiseach the number of man-days lost due to industrial disputes in the years ended 31st December, 1973 and 1974 and the period ended 31st April, 1975.

The number of man-days lost through industrial disputes was 206,725 in 1973 and 551,833 in 1974. From the preliminary data available, it is estimated that 87,000 days were lost in the period January to the end of March, 1975. The figures for April are not yet available.
