Vol. 281 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unmarried Mothers' Legislation.

20.

asked the Minister for Justice if he proposes to initiate legislation to extend the time limit in which a single mother may bring a case against the natural father.

(Cavan): I think there is a widespread feeling that the present period of limitation ought to be extended but there is room for differences of opinion as to what the period should be. I hope to make a submission to the Government in this matter in the near future.
