Vol. 281 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Vagrancy Act.

29.

asked the Minister for Justice if he proposes to initiate legislation to repeal the Vagrancy Act. 1824.

(Cavan): Only one section of the Act is still in force and it is the kind of provision that will undoubtedly come to be reviewed at some stage. There are however several matters which in my view must come higher on the priority list and I have therefore no immediate proposals for its repeal or amendment.

Questions Nos. 30 to 33, inclusive, postponed.
