asked the Minister for Health the number of vacant beds for each day in the Geriatric Hospital, Tullamore, County Offaly, for the month of April, 1975.

It has been ascertained from the Midland Health Board that the number of vacant beds in the geriatric unit at Tullamore, which has 96 beds for patients, ranged from two vacant beds, on two dates, to seven vacant beds, on one date, during the month of April, 1975. For the other dates the number of vacant beds ranged from three to six. The average number of vacant beds during the month was 4.3.
