Vol. 281 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mayo Lands.

15.

asked the Minister for Lands the circumstances in which land was acquired by the Forestry Division of his Department from a person in County Mayo (name supplied).

(Cavan): The Forest and Wildlife Service of my Department have not purchased any land from the person named. The Deputy may be referring, however, to an area in the townland of Corlumnin acquired by the service from the Land Commission, and to part of which area the person named made claim. The claimant was unable to substantiate the claim and the Forest and Wildlife Service exercised their rights over the area purchased.
