Vol. 282 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Agricultural Exports.

12.

asked the Taoiseach the total value of agricultural exports including processed foods, for the first five months of this year; and the agricultural exports as a percentage of total exports.

The latest month for which the information requested by the Deputy is available is March, 1975. In the period January-March, 1975 the value of agricultural exports including processed foods is provisionally estimated at £118 million or 38.7 per cent of the value of total exports.

Do those figures include beef going into intervention?

I cannot tell the Deputy that offhand, I am afraid.

It is a very vital statistic, having an important bearing on the whole figure.

It is the type the Deputy could have got by putting down a question.

The Parliamentary Secretary does not know it.
