My Department has been informed by the Office of Public Works that the erection of this school has been completed as planned and has been ready for occupation for some time past. The parents, however, have refused to allow their children to attend the school until certain additional works have been carried out to the school surrounds. I understand that the Commissioners of Public Works are considering these matters.
