Vol. 282 No. 6

Excess Vote, 1972-73. - Business of Dáil.

Would you allow me to intervene for a moment with regard to the business of the House? It was agreed this morning on the Order of Business that the Estimates, if not disposed of individually, would be put from the Chair in a group at 2 p.m. The intention was to pass then two other items— the Appropriation Bill and a double taxation agreement motion. On the understanding that the Appropriation Bill and double taxation agreement motion will be passed in a matter of a couple of minutes the proposal now is that the time for the Estimates be extended to 2.25 p.m. There is no objection to that from our side provided it is understood that the other two items I mentioned will pass before 2.30 p.m. or the beginning of Questions.

That is agreed.
