The South-Eastern Regional Tourism Organisation Ltd. requested the Commissioners of Public Works to extend the slip by 12 feet, the work to be paid for by the tourism organisation and to be completed by 13th July. The commissioners have set the works in train and will endeavour to meet the completion date specified but tide and weather conditions may hinder their efforts.
