asked the Minister for Social Welfare why an old age pension has not been paid to a person in County Offaly (details supplied).
Written Answers. - Old Age Pension.

There is no record of the receipt in my Department of a recent claim for contributory or non-contributory old age pension from the person concerned. A claim for contributory old age pension, however, was received from her in July, 1974. In connection with that claim she was informed on 8th August, 1974, that she did not satisfy the contribution conditions for the pension and failed to qualify for it for that reason. She is receiving from my Department a widow's contributory pension at the maximum rate of £9.50 a week, which is in payment to her from 11th September, 1971.
