Vol. 284 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Dental Service.

22.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that no dentist visits Tallow, County Waterford, for the convenience of patients in that area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The provision of dental services in the area concerned is the responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board.

I understand that the health board intend to reopen a dental centre at Tallow as soon as the necessary furniture and equipment becomes available. Meanwhile eligible persons from the Tallow area will continue to receive dental treatment services at the board's Lismore centre.
