Vol. 284 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clare Factory.

32.

asked the Minister for Finance the costs of (a) the purchase of ground space (b) preparation of the space for building and (c) the building itself in respect of the recently closed factory at Tuamgraney, County Clare.

The cost of providing the building— which is a prefabricated demountable unit—was £13,391 and was met from the Special Regional Development Fund. The building was erected on a half acre site, part of a larger area which had been purchased and developed by Clare County Council. A separate figure for the cost of purchasing and developing the actual area occupied by the factory in question is not available.
