No proposals for the development of Birr Aerodrome have been received in my Department. Further development of the aerodrome would be a matter for the licensee in consultation with other local interests. My Department's involvement would be limited to advice on the technical aspects of any proposed development. The further development of Birr Aerodrome would not qualify for assistance from EEC funds.
