asked the Minister for Local Government the present weekly wages of county council roadworkers, the amount of the last pay increase and the amount of the next payment payable before the end of 1975 under the national agreement, 1974, in the form of the reply to Question No. 448 of the 6th November, 1974.

There has been no change in the pay position of the employees since the reply to Question 157 of 29th July, 1975. There are no substitution payments due to employees other than the Night Watchman. The next substitution payment in his case is 62½p payable from 1st December.

Notes:

(1) The last wage increase (Column 5 above) represented the second phase of the 1975 National Agreement.

(2) All employees in the above grades qualify for service pay at the rate of £0.25, £0.50, £0.75 and £1.00 weekly after 5 , 10, 15 and 20 years service respectively.

(3) The Engineman at the Munster Institute receives an additional weekly allowance of £0.75 during the heating season.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will furnish particulars of the forestry bonus scheme applicable to forestry workers for each month in 1975 indicating (a) the average monthly bonus earnings per hour (b) the bonus rate per hour at 100 per cent productivity and (c) the present bonus rate per hour at 65 per cent, 70 per cent, 80 per cent and 90 per cent productivity.
