23.

andMr. Cronin asked the Minister for Lands if any steps are being taken by the Land Commission to relieve congestion for small farmers in the immediate neighbourhood of the Barony of Barrymore, Belvelly, Cobh, County Cork.

(Cavan): Proceedings have been instituted for the compulsory acquisition of an area of 200 acres in the townlands of Belvelly and Donegal, Barony of Barrymore, at Great Island, County Cork. The case is still at an early stage, however, and it is not possible to say what the outcome of the proceedings will be.
