Vol. 287 No. 3

Written Answers. - County Waterford School.

334.

asked the Minister for Education when the proposed extension to Fenor national school, County Waterford, will be put in hand; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is proposed to extend and convert the existing two-classroom national school at Fenor, County Waterford, into a building comprising three suitable classrooms and a general purposes room. The Commissioners of Public Works are investigating the feasibility of carrying out such a scheme and will report to my Department in due course. I will not be in a position to make any further statement in the matter until that report has been received and considered. The proposals, therefore, are not at such a stage that I could indicate when—or, indeed if—the extension of the school will be put in hands.
