Vol. 287 No. 6

Written Answers. - County Cork Electricity Supply.

304.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power when electricity will be extended to a person (name supplied) in County Cork.

I am informed by the ESB that the person concerned submitted an application for supply to his premises at Ballincarrig, Churchtown, Mallow, County Cork, on 6th January, 1976. As some new wiring had been provided by the applicant since the premises had previously been connected to the electricity supply a wiring completion certificate was, in accordance with standard practice sought. This certificate was received by the board on 12th January, 1976.

The applicant's premises will be reconnected as soon as possible but, as it will be necessary to provide replacement external wiring, it will likely be two to three weeks before electricity supply is again available.
