The number of Christmas cards sent by me and my Parliamentary Secretary was 950 and 600; the purchase cost was £86.90 and £54.24 respectively. The exact cost of postage cannot be calculated as, in accordance with long-standing practice the envelopes are franked and issued as part of the ordinary departmental post. However, the estimated cost of postage for my cards was £66.50 and £42.00 for my Parliamentary Secretary.
