Vol. 287 No. 8

Written Answers. - Greystones Secondary School Places.

119.

asked the Minister for Education the number of first year school places available to students in the secondary school at Greystones, County Wicklow, for the 1976-77 school year; and whether this will meet the anticipated requirements.

Second level education pupils in Greystones mainly attend schools in Greystones and in Bray. It has been ascertained from the authorities of St. David's Secondary School in Greystones that about 100 places will be available in the school in September, 1976. Free transport from Greystones to Bray will continue to be available to pupils who request it. It is anticipated that the accommodation available in the schools in Greystones and Bray will be adequate to meet the demand for places from Greystones pupils in September, 1976.
