Vol. 287 No. 9

Written Answers. - Dublin Motorway.

67.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are any proposals before him for the building of a motorway anywhere in the Dublin area; and, if so, if he will give particulars.

There are no such proposals other than a compulsory purchase order for the acquisition of some 236 acres near Santry for improvement of a section of the Dublin-Drogheda Road and Coolock Lane. Under section 7 of the Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974, this order is deemed to be a motorway scheme.
