I do not think it is appropriate to make a statement in regard to the report, which has only just been published.
In general, would the Minister agree with the council's assessment of where the emphasis should be laid in the allocation of funds?
I would hesitate to speak as briefly as one would necessarily have to speak in reply to supplementary questions in respect of a document which is so fundamental as this one and which relates particularly to the ten years 1962-1973. Perhaps the more appropriate opportunity of dealing with the matters raised would be on the Estimates for my Department.
