Vol. 288 No. 1

Written Answers. - Cork Pay-Related Benefit.

61.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare why a person (details supplied) in Cork city, who is in receipt of injury benefit, has not been paid pay-related benefit for the last 12 weeks.

When the person concerned claimed injury benefit, he quoted a PAYE number which was found to refer to another person. Further inquiries to ascertain his reckonable earnings were necessary in order to determine his entitlement to pay-related benefit. These inquiries have been completed and all pay-related benefit due to date has now been paid.
