As I indicated in reply to a similar question from the Deputy on 26th March, 1974, it is not possible, because of the diverse nature of capital inflows, to relate them directly to job creation. However, the IDA estimate that the proportion of new job approvals, associated with grant-aided projects sponsored by overseas promoters, is of the order of 55 per cent.
