asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when his Department intend to repair a telephone for a person (details supplied) in County Meath which has been out of order since the strike and has been reported on numerous occasions.

The service of the subscriber in question was restored on the 4th March.

62.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that there are a number of telephones in the Dunshaughlin area of County Meath which have been out of order for the past month and have not yet been repaired; and when the necessary repairs will be carried out.

A number of telephones in the Dunshaughlin area have been out of order for abnormal periods as a result of the recent industrial dispute. It is expected that they will be repaired by the weekend.
