asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will now arrange to have disability benefit paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who was ill for six weeks and received no benefit.

Payment of disability benefit due to the person referred to by the Deputy in his question was issued on 24th March, 1976.

102.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare why unemployment assistance has not been paid to a person (name supplied) in County Offaly.

The application for unemployment assistance of the person concerned has been allowed with effect from 17th October, 1975, and arrangements have been made to have all unemployment assistance due paid to him at his local post office in the course of the present week. Further payments will continue as they fall due.
