Vol. 289 No. 4

Written Answers. - Cork Road Tax.

106.

asked the Minister for Local Government the amount of money collected in road tax in (a) Cork city and (b) Cork County in 1975.

The amount collected in road tax, including duty on driving licences, during the year 1975, by Cork County Council was £3,402,445. Cork County Council is the licensing authority for the city and county since 19th August, 1974, when the motor taxation offices were amalgamated. Accordingly, no separate figures as between city and county are available since that date.
