The National Committee on Pilot Schemes to Combat Poverty is charged with the task of implementing a programme of pilot schemes to combat poverty as part of the social action programme of the EEC. It is envisaged that reports published by the committee will be based largely on the experience of its pilot schemes and that the committee will take the initiative in relation to such matters.
