The beef cattle incentive scheme is currently being reviewed in the context of the operation of the EEC disadvantaged areas scheme and an announcement in regard to the terms and conditions to apply in 1976 will be made at the earliest possible date. Meanwhile preliminary inspections of eligible herds have commenced in some areas and are continuing.
