Vol. 290 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 15 (resumed) and 16 (resumed). No. 16 will be taken between 12.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I would like to refer to today's Order Paper and, specifically, to the meeting of the Special Committee on the Wildlife Bill called for this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The practice in connection with these committees is that arrangements for future meetings take place at the commencement or termination of business. In so far as at 6 o'clock last Tuesday the Chairman indicated that business had already been completed and that the business of the next meeting had not been taken, you will accept the suggestion that a meeting has been arranged does not hold?

I would direct your attention to the fact that Members received this morning a motion in my name which indicates the attitude of our party to the Committee in question.
