Vol. 291 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Monaghan Park.

28.

asked the Minister for Lands when it is anticipated that Rossmore Park, Monaghan, will be fully developed as a forest park.

The area in question will be brought to forest park standards over the next few weeks by the completion of work currently in hand including surfacing of approach road and car parks, the construction of toilet block, the landscaping of hilltop areas and signposting of walks.

Development of the park otherwise will continue over the next few years with addition of facilities such as nature trails and viewing points being undertaken as public usage justifies.
