I have been informed by the Industrial Development Authority that they have been vigorously promoting Westport as a centre for industrial development, and they hope to be in a position to make an announcement shortly about a new project.
In an effort to increase the attractiveness of the town as a location for industry the authority are, as the Deputy knows, constructing an advance factory; they are also seeking a large industrial site in Westport.
