The drawings and specification for the new school have been completed, and the bills of quantity should shortly be ready. It is hoped to invite tenders next month.

asked the Minister for Finance when work will commence on the new central national school for Eyeries, County Cork.
Work on this school will commence when an existing high-tension line which crosses the site is rerouted. A telephone cable must first be laid underground in the area in which it crosses the new route of the line. It is expected that this work will be completed next week and rerouting of the high-tension line should follow quickly.
