Vol. 293 No. 7

Written Answers. - Unemployment Assistance.

88.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the reason for the delay in deciding an appeal against a decision on an application for unemployment assistance by a person (name supplied) in Galway.

A decision has been given by an appeals officer upholding the deciding officer's reduced assessment of means for unemployment assistance purposes in the case of the person concerned. He had already been paid all arrears of unemployment assistance due to him as a result of the reduced assessment and payments are continuing as they fall due.
