Vol. 293 No. 7

Written Answers. - Telephone Service.

101.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs why an offer of telephone service to a person (name supplied) in County Cork was withdrawn; and if he will now arrange to have the service provided.

It was intended to offer service to the applicant concerned in September last but the offer was deferred because of a temporary local plant difficulty. This difficulty is expected to be relieved shortly. Terms are being quoted to the applicant in question and to a number of other waiting applicants in the area. Service will be provided in about two months.
