17.

asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the acquisition of the Longford Demesne at Dromard, County Sligo.

(Cavan): Proceedings for the compulsory acquisition of 114 acres approximately of the property referred to have reached the stage where the question of price remains to be settled.

Would the Minister indicate when proceedings commenced?

(Cavan): Compulsory acquisition proceedings were instituted for these lands on 13th July, 1976.

Did the Minister receive any representation from Deputies other than the Deputy who put down the question in respect of this land?

That is a separate question.

(Cavan): I have not got that information.

Could the Minister make that information available?

(Cavan): I will have a look at the file.
