Vol. 293 No. 11

Written Answers. - Children's Allowance.

66.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange to have the children's allowance book of a person (details supplied) in County Cork updated as requested some months ago to include her son who is over 16 years of age and attending school as she has submitted all the facts including a certificate from the headmaster of the school.

A children's allowance book covering payment from September, 1976, and an arrears payment in respect of July and August were issued to the person concerned on 9th November, 1976, when her son's resumption at school had been confirmed. The certificate of school attendance received in the Department covered only to June, 1976.
