Vol. 293 No. 11

Written Answers. - County Sligo Estates.

68.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that part of the Breheny estate in Drumcollum and Knockaun, Riverstown, County Sligo, has not been allocated; and if he will ensure that it is not handed over to the Forestry Division as it is good grazing land and there are local congests eager for this land.

Cavan): As the Deputy is aware the selection of allottees for land is reserved by law to the lay commissioners and I have no function in the matter. However, I am arranging to have the Deputy's views conveyed to the Land Commission for consideration in connection with the disposal of the lands referred to in the question.

69.

asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the Osborne estate at Clevery, Castlebaldwin, County Sligo; and when it will be allocated.

Cavan): I understand that proposals for the division of the property referred to are at present being examined. It is hoped to allocate the lands before the end of 1976.
