I am informed by the ESB that the new house in question is located in the board's Mount Bolus rural area where the Government subsidised rural electrification scheme has been completed for some time. It does not qualify for subsidised supply under the provisions of the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Bill, 1976, now before the Dáil.
